IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!

We have a Kindergartner in the house. Class of 2022 watch out cause our little G Monkey is on her way!! WOOP WOOP! G Monkey went to her new school today to take the entrance test. She scored 94%. I'm so excited for her, and nervous for me. I hope it's not a trend with what I was feeling when she was taking the test. Man were the nerves going. It was like I was taking the test and I wasn't. LOL She likes the teacher she took the test with too. Now we have to figure out what uniforms we will get and all the other stuff needed for a Kindergartener. I love shopping for school supplies so it wont be so bad right? Just wanted to share the great news about our little G Monkey.

Here it is folks the Disney Electrical Parade!!!! I loved this parade as a kid and still love it but loved the old skool parade better.

I took video and will try to post some next need to decide which video to put up....

Pixar Parade!

Okay so while we were at California's Adventure we saw most if not all the parades that day. We just took pictures of the two most important parades Pixar and Electrical Parade of course. :) I already know that this post is going to be really long so I'm sorry but too many cute pictures. I just can't help myself.

We went back!

So a while back we went to Disneyland. This year it was better for us to get a twofer tickets. This means that you can go to both parks on different days. Well needless to say we went back of course. People have told us California Adventures is not for kids. I can see that but really my monkeys had the best of time. We were busy all day and the park opened at 10 and closed at 10. We had 11.5 hours of busy fun. The longest line was for Toy Story no surprise there. I think the best part for me was Soaring of California which Daddy Monkey knows the genius behind that ride and the only reason we really wanted to go on it. G Monkey loved it and totally thought she saw Papa playing golf during the ride. NO we didn't tell her it wasn't Papa. I loved seeing the Electrical Parade and the Pixar parade as well. Though I didn't think that the Pixar parade would be so wet. What to see some pictures? I bet you do so here you go. :)

We went on the Monster's ride and then took a picture in the taxi outside.

The kids and I went to the live Playhouse Disney show. How fun that was to see the kids so excited to see their Disney friends.

While we were there we stopped by to see Mater and McQueen.

Then G Monkey spotted Baloo and so she had to rush over and say hi!

Fun filled day. We all had a blast and would even go back again. There were still things we didn't get to see that we wanted to see. :)

Old Skool Toys

So we were up at my Dad's house cleaning out the garage. My Dad saved most of are old toys. So since we were cleaning out the garage we brought them down. Thankfully that first day B and G Monkey were with their Nana otherwise it would have taken us even longer to go through. So we saved a few toys so that the little Monkey's could have fun and so we could have pictures of our old toys with the kids on them.

Remember the sit and spins before they added all the bell and whistles? If you don't take a close look at what G Monkey is checking out. Yup an old school sit and spin. She was not happy that it didn't make noise like Dora talking.


And then there is B Monkey on the tractor. Now I do not remember anyone having somthing like this expect for us but I'm sure everyone had one of these right?

Last but not least here is B Monkey riding the caterpillar. Just so you all know he was way too big to be riding these things but we had to let him play with them. Poor kid kept falling over every time he tried to turn. It was so funny.

Working in the backyard

Well I went away for the family at home spa weekend and when I got home no one was home. I cleaned up around the house and then decided to get some lunch. I called the hubby and asked if they wanted lunch too. A yes reply was given. So we had lunch and then nap time. Here where we live, we are now under a stage 2 water rationing for low water levels. This means that we can only water our grass for 10 mins three times a week. We were watering 4o mins three times a week. I'm sure that was way too much but I'm not in charge of watering the lawn, or setting the timer for the sprinklers to go on. :) So after nap time Daddy Monkey and the little monkeys worked on the sprinklers and then of course had to try them out.

It would seem that the sprinklers are working just fine. :) And neither monkey got sick from doing this. Which if you know us you know that is a feet in and of its self.

Awana is over for now

We'll at the beginning of the month we had our last meeting for AWANA's. This means that G Monkey is done with Cubbies and will move on to Sparks in the Fall. This also means that B Monkey will join Cubbies in the Fall. I will continue to serve in Cubbies. More then likely I will serve in the class that B Monkey is not in. Though I would love to stay with my current teachers it's best if B Monkey gets some indepenence from Mommy.

Afterwards we went to Coldstone Creamery for some ice cream. We did this the year before and so it seems to have become a tradition now.

That time of year again!

So Daddy Monkey got an itch to go back to the Magical Kingdom. We decided to go last minute. We had some friends going from out of town so we thought we'd meet up with them. Why not. We hardly see them (our bad) and our kids get along so well. So we managed to find a stroller to use thanks Mom. And we made due with my purse as being the catch all for everything we needed. Wish'd I had taken a picture of everything we managed to shove in there and I do me Shove! We had such a great time. Our G Monkey was in the parade and both kids were old enough, I mean tall enough to go on a roller coaster or two. :)

Daddy Monkey and G Monkey went on this ride together. Any ride that was a little loud G Monkey got scared and covered her ears.

So we had a great time. Hope to go see the other park one day soon. A girl can hope right?

Chuck E Cheese!!

Well G Monkey made enough for the Wiggle a Thon that she got to go to Chuck E Cheese's for a reward with her school. She had so much fun running around that I hardly saw her (don't worry I kept an eye out) B Monkey was my buddy. So there are much more pictures of him then G Monkey.
