Parking Lots

I don't like to complain but, I need to vent about this. Today the kids and I met up with my friend and her son at our local Wal-Mart. We met there and amazingly we got there at the same time not knowing when the other had left. We parked in the same isle just not next to each other. Well when I got to my car I couldn't believe what I saw. A tundra truck had parked next to us but this person didn't leave me any room to put my son in his car seat. This guy parked less then a foot away from me. It wasn't a small spot either on the drivers side of his car you could park 1 and half shopping carts between his car and the car next to him. I was so mad. B Monkey was already upset (he's teething 4 teeth). I unloaded our things into the car tried to put B Monkey in was able to squeeze him in but left him there and went to the other side to buckle him in. I ended up having to get in on our passenger side We have a 4Runner so I then had to "walk" across the center console and slip into the drivers seat. I was so hoping the owner of the car would come out so I could talk with them but no such luck. I'm sure it was for the good. I know that when I park my car I always try to make sure that there is room for the other drivers passengers to get into their cars.

I'm curious what would you have done if you'd come out to your car with two kids one crying to find that you couldn't get in to your car because of the way someone parked next to you??

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy busy busy. This week alone we've been to the zoo, to our MOPS group, and out to the country. So Monday was our only non-busy day. We stayed home and did laundry.Tuesday we went to the Zoo with our good friends. Mrs. B and her C Monkey. This was the first time I let B Monkey out of his stroller to look around. Talk about a kid in the candy store, only there was NO candy involved.

Here they are at the zoo. As you can tell G Monkey isn't too thrilled with the reptile house. But B Monkey and C Monkey are totally into it. Here's another picture of B Monkey, look how close the snake is to him.

So all the kids had a great time as well as their Mommies at least I think we all had a good time. :)

Today we went to the country so G Monkey and B Monkey could play with some friends and Mama Monkey could have some fun too. We went with our friends to a craft fair. Oh I've limited myself in regards to sewing things. I could sew many things we saw and for some good money too. I just need material to do it. Well with time I'll get that and maybe make some money at it. Wouldn't that be nice!! Well I should get to bed I have a busy day tomorrow and weekend at that. My sister is coming to town. Oh is G Monkey going to be pleased as punch at that. She's been saying I miss Auntie H and Uncle J for weeks now. Maybe next time Uncle J can come with Auntie H.

Now picture in your mind a 3.5 year old saying this in a sing song type way. You might wonder what she's saying is so Delicious, well today it was a Costco hot dog. When ever my G Monkey says this she needs you to respond with good, good, good; and you must say it quickly too. So I of course have to take a picture or two of G Monkey eating this delicious hot dog. Then B Monkey wants in on it so he's repeating over and over again CHEESE!! So I of course had to take a pictures of him too.

Fresh Air!

Well since we've been under the weather as of late. I decided that today we'd go ahead and play outside. Maybe the fresh air would do everyone good. We played with bubbles, chalk, and our slide. The kids loved it.

The kids had fun and it was nice seeing them out and playing. Some were not too happy when it was time to come in for lunch. Oh well they were happy when it was time to take naps.

B Monkey Likes Em

So G Monkey and I made Daddy cookies today. Once the cookies had cooled B Monkey and G Monkey and I tried the cookies. Well we all liked them but B Monkey really liked them this is an after shot of B Monkey eating the cookie.

Just when you think.....

Okay just when I thought the worst had come G Monkey came down with the hives on Saturday. So I had to take her to Urgent Care and thankfully my friend watched B Monkey. I was going to take him too but she brought me to my senses. We now are dealing with Colds in both Monkey's, pink eye in both, and Hives in one. Just when I thought the worst had come nope something else had to come up. Well maybe in the next few weeks I can write about something other then colds and such. Maybe something happier.

They have WHAT??

So my little Monkey's have conjunctivitis! How did they get that. Well apparently they can get "pink eye" from a regular cold. Can you believe it. I suspected something wrong yesterday when G Monkey's eyes didn't look right, then by the afternoon B Monkey's eyes were looking a bit suspicious. Both have had runny noses, a cough and runny eyes with some color to it. Anyways today I canceled all our meeting and outing and we headed to the Doctor's. We've been there a lot lately. So when their doctor came in and asked how we were I couldn't help but say Well I wish we were here for a Well baby appointment. But we weren't. So after being looked at and given our prescriptions we came home defeated yet again . We will go and get our meds once the monkey's have had their naps. Anyone have suggestions on how to help these little monkey's ??
