Cousin Visit

We had G Baby come for a visit this last month and had a great time.  

Wiggles was showing him how well she plays the piano and he was so impressed he wanted to try it. 

He then tried his hand at Lego's with Monkey.

LEGOS?

Daddy and Monkey got an itch to put the Legos back together. Well Daddy did, and Monkey helped.   Lego's were put back together, Darth Vader's ship, Toy Story cars, and more.  

Here the two are looking for pieces.  They still have lots of kits to put together but they are whittling down the pieces which makes it so much easier to find the pieces your looking for.

Jog a thon / Trike a thon

Okay this entry is a bit out of order but I did say that I was going post pictures and updates for those that sponsored Wiggles and Monkey in the "Thons".  Both kids did great! They ate a healthy breakfast and were ready to go.  Both have lots of energy tonight given all they did today. I'm tired from helping out and I even forgot Wiggles make up piano lesson today after school. :\  I sure hope the teacher didn't wait around for us and I did contact her with my apologies.  Okay sorry I digressed a bit.  SO both Wiggles and Monkey were ready to go. We got off with out forgetting anything so we made it to school on time early in fact.

County Library? Really....

Now I gotta say I didn't know about the County Library until just recently.  I was looking for some books for Wiggles to read and our City Library didn't have them no surprise really but a big surprise that the County Library had them. So when we went I found out that they had a preschool story hour. Well the first week we went I didn't do it cause we had already been there for awhile and I thought it was time to leave. The second week Nani took Monkey and he really enjoyed it. So then this last week I took Monkey. He enjoyed it again though we didn't stay for play time after story time. Again we'd already been there for 2 hours so I thought we should get other things done, and we did.  I think if it's possible I will go to the County Library before we will go to our City Library.  In my opinion the workers are happier, and friendlier, and they have the books we are looking for. It also helps that it appears to be cleaner too.

Backyard Fun!

A while back Wiggles used some of her money to buy a scooter.  She loves it too.  She is so fast on it now that she cuts her brother off while he's riding his bike in the backyard. See above you can see her in action.  Daddy was cutting, fertilizing, and aerating  the lawn and the kids were having fun.

Oh Captain, Captain!

I figured I put the family shot up first.  So we decided to take the Mark Twain boat around, while were were at Disneyland.  While trying to find a place to sit the captain of the boat asked Daddy how many were in our group he said 5 and then corrected it to 6. The Captain of the boat asked if we'd like to join her on the Captain's Deck.  We immediately said YES!  All three kids got to drive the boat, and blow the whistle.  We were able to sign the log book too.

So each kid got a Pilot's Certificate when the ride was over.  How cool is that!  

Disney again

Here we are again in the Disneyland parking lot with two crazy kids.  No it's not Spring Break for us though everyone did have Friday off no joke. 

As many times as we've been to Disneyland we've never took the kids on the Rockets.  So today we did just that. 

Wiggles wanted to drive by herself. She was very disappointed to see that she wasn't anywhere near tall enough to do this.  Yes, she still had to drive with an adult and it was Mom who she'd be driving with. Doesn't she look happy.

Now Monkey he likes to drive people around on this ride and isn't anywhere near ready to drive on his own. He's okay with it.  But the next one he was sad for. 

Indiana Jones ride.  I think I'll have to get him some platform shoes so he can ride it next time.  He has been wanting to go on this ride for so long.  We thought he was close but no luck.  

He was distracted quick enough when he saw Nani, Austin and McKenna at the park. Auntie Ang and Uncle Brian were there too(for some reason I don't have a pic of Uncle Brian).  

Later in the day the older kids Wiggles, Daddy, Uncle Brian and Auntie Ang went on Space Mountain while the younger kids stayed behind.  While waiting some how Austin got some CRAZY hair to which one I took the picture he made into Normal hair again. 

Don't you just love his eyes, almost like I terrorized him.  I DIDN'T though!!!!

We stayed to watch World of Color and how fun was that.   The wind hit us just right that I got quite wet. I thought we were out of the wet zone but when the wind blows just right, Everyone is in the wet zone.
