Wiggles new bed

Now that Wiggles is in 1st grade and has homework, we thought it was time she got a desk. Only her room isn't that big, though it is bigger then her brothers.  So what to do get her a loft bed of course.  Boy does she love it too.

Nani and Papa come for Wiggles Birthday Dinner

Nani and Papa came down for Wiggles actual birthday and we went out to dinner.  We had such a good time and Wiggles was so excited that Nani and Papa came down just for her birthday.

Of all the things, Wiggles asked for pumpkin pie!  So like a good Mommy I made one.  

A Night at the Movies and 20 + friends...

It's amazing what you will do for your child when it's her birthday and the 3rd movie in a series comes out around her birthday.  Wiggles wanted a Night at the Movies with her friends for her birthday.  So what do Mom's do when their child asks for such a birthday party?  They think piece of cake I have this one in the bag.  We are able to project the movie on a big screen so it's just like being at the theater.  So we agreed.  In the beginning I thought oh this will be great have a few friends over and we'll have an easy time of it.  Well when you invite the whole 1st grade so that you don't have to find individual addresses for classmates and then invite your other friends and all their kids it becomes a HUGE party. I think the final count was 21 kids not including adults ranging in age from 4 months to 8 years.  Only 7 were school related friends.  Wiggles had a blast and like the theater at the end of a movie our back room looked just like that minus the sticky floor and spilled drinks.  Yes the popcorn was Everywhere!  We even vacuumed after the last guest left.   So enjoy the pictures and I don't think we will have a party like this again.  If we do it will be on a MUCH smaller scale.  :)

Wiggles Birthday Cake...

Wiggles wanted another doll cake this year for her birthday party.  So like a good Mom I gave her another doll cake.  This year though she wanted a fairy doll cake from the Tinker Bell.  Now she didn't want Tinker Bell but Rosetta..  In order to get said doll we had to go 30 mins north to Target, because our Target was sold out of Rosetta and not just once but every time I went. Then go figure Wiggles got 4 Rosetta dolls.  So with out making you wait anymore here are the pictures of Rosetta the cake!

Family Party for Wiggles

As if the Night at the Movies wasn't enough we also had a family party earlier the same day.... Yeah, it was right after soccer too.  Really busy day but only day we could do it, and well worth it!

Decorations are up for both parties and we are almost ready to go.

I didn't take as many pictures and I had hoped to so I don't have a picture of everyone there but here are some.

Great Uncle Steve was so nice to read to the girls.  I know Wiggles loved having Uncle Steve read to her as well as entertain her love of being tickled.   Once my honey posts the pictures he took I'll come back and post more.  I was so busy that day I didn't take too many pictures so now we will have to wait a while. :) 

Soccer every weekend

Okay so every weekend from early September to mid November we have soccer on Saturday.  This year we were able to support two sports on Saturday mornings.  Monkey's team color is red, so we showed our football pride as well.  Nebraska Huskers were well represented at each Fire Ants game. :)

Getting ready to throw the ball in to his other 3 team mates on the field.  Yes the teams were much smaller then last year. Only 5 were on Monkey's team, compared to Wiggles 9 team members.

Water break or 1/2 time can't remember.  But it was hot that day and he was drinking like there was no tomorrow.

Taking his turn out for about 5 mins so another teammate can play.  Now if you could see Daddy's shirt you would see it's a Nebraska shirt. :)

Go get it Bull Dog!  Yes, Monkey has a different nickname for soccer; Bull Dog.  Why, because he goes after the ball and doesn't look back.  He's not afraid to get into an altercation to get that ball too.  We've had several talks about keeping your arms in and to yourself.  He is one determined boy.  He has loved playing soccer this year time will only tell if he continues or if he goes on to play another sport.  Some have said he should go into POP WARNER football.  I'm not sure I'm ready for that to happen yet.  Though it would be cool in my opinion to play football.  Right now I'm happy with him playing soccer and so is he!

FIRE ANTS!!!!!!

Okay so probably not quite what you were thinking huh.  Monkey is in soccer this year and just like last year I'm a sucker when it comes to a team with no banner.  So last minute I (cough, cough) volunteered to make the banner.  Thanks to the women at Joann's I didn't use that seen on TV glue like I did last year.  Heat Bond was used and OH life was much much easier!  Why no one told me of this stuff last year I don't know why.  Anyways, I loved the team color and we came up with a great name.  Fire Ants; team color Red!!!  Below this year's banner:

 I know not the whole banner up and finished but I can't seem to find the finished product. This however is close enough to the finished product.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to enter it in the banner contest.  That same weekend we had a birthday party and while we were going to divided and conquer.  It turned out that two were sick and I ended up taking a little girl to the party and forgoing the regional picnic.  Oh well, dare I say maybe next year? Gulp!

Wiggle's is in Ballet!

That's right folks Wiggles is now in Ballet!  She is absolutely loving it too!  She will be performing in the near future too in the Nutcracker!  Can't wait to see her perform.  She just loves to perform things too. From piano to dance you name it and she wants to do it!  We are so proud of our little social butterfly!
