We had a wonderful day at Disneyland. At the end of the day the kids did too. So much fun that they fell asleep on the ride home. Glad we brought the kids pj's with us. :)

The Rides We Let Our Kids Ride....
So now that Monkey has reached 40 inches with shoes, we can all go on lots of rides together as a family. The latest was Space Mountain. See:
I know bad picture of a picture, we are in the back.
Buzz Lightyear ride Monkey was so excited.
Nemo
The carousel ride. Wiggles was so excited to get a horse with purple on it.
A new one for me and the kids was the Tiki Tiki Room.
I must be crazy to let my kids drive....
So one of our kids favorite rides is Autopia. Both Wiggles and Monkey are the craziest drives alive, but they have such a fun time. So I take the bumps and whiplash gracefully.
Notice Wiggles hair blowing in the wind. Such a fast driver...
Do you see Monkey's smile so excited to be driving and at such a young age too.
Characters, Characters and more.
This time the kids were really into the Characters. Last time we went they were scared of them. The look on the kid's faces just made my day. We saw Minnie, Buzz, Woody, Jesse, and many others during the day. Below are a few Monkey was beside himself when he saw his favorite characters.
The Happiest Place on Earth ....
What to do what to do. Well it would seem the last few years we've gotten an itch this time of year to take the kids on a wonderful adventure. That adventure always lands us at the Happiest place on Earth. Where the rides make kids smile and act silly, where they get to meet their favorite Characters and where Mom and Dad take them on rides that go fast and faster. Yup we took the kids to Disneyland! Our first ride: The tram to get to the gates. hehehe...
Look at that smile on Wiggles. Pure excitement!
What about Monkey, and yes I was very excited to go too.
Even though we just went it was actually a cool day. We had just bought our tickets and were on our way in.
I'm going to break the pictures into categories instead of writing one LOOOONNGGG post. It was such a wonderful day and well worth the drive to and from.
It's an Animal sort of day
The best part of having Monkey home now is having the opportunity to have playdates with his buddies. We've been trying to have this playdate for months... But when the day would come one or both would be sick and we'd have to reschedule. So finally we were good to go. Monkey actually had an ear infection but that didn't hold us back. :) S Man and Monkey are great buddies and are so excited to see each other when we meet up with MOPS or AWANA.
C Man and his Mama
Monkey eating his lunch.
Giraffes we always love looking at them!
Open House
It's that time of year. Open House at school. This was our first Open House with Wiggles' School. The kids had a musical performance first and then we were released to the classrooms. We were able to see Wiggles' next class and meet the teacher. So excited to see how she will do in 1st grade. SO much has happened since the last post. Wiggles has started piano lessons and is enjoying every bit of it. She has been signed up for Dance Camp and Swim lessons this summer. As of today there are only 14 days left of school. WOO HOO. I realized I'm off task. Sorry. Below are pictures from the Open House. :)
Waiting for program to start.

Beach Camping
Thanks to some friends we were able to get some awesome campsites on the beach!! The best part there were 7 families and we all get along and so do our kids!! In total I think there were 16 kids and 16 adults. Pretty good ratio I think. So we packed up the Hilton (trailer) and headed out to the beach. Wiggles and Monkey were so happy to have their friends there. We'd love to go again to the beach but also go camping with these families.
Here are the kids playing on the beach at least some of them. So much fun. The sun was out the day we got there but then it hid the rest of the weekend. That's okay though saved lots of us from getting burnt. :)
Monkey and a friend playing "tennis" it was set up for volleyball or badminton but Monkey kept calling it "tennis".
The Dad's trying to catch a fish or two. Nothing bit but the kelp. Maybe another day. They had fun which is the important part.

Monkey and his Daddy.
For Christmas the kids received a metal detector. We thought it would be a fun activity for the kids. Above Wiggles trying to find treasure, she'd find the legs of the beach chairs but nothing else. Below a group of kids using it. They never did find any treasure. Next time we will probably go out before the kids and "plant the treasure". It will be more fun that way.
Another fun past time for the kids was kite flying. Below Wiggles is flying one of the many kites we had out there.
Another past time that the kids liked was playing in the dirt and water.
Now the best picture of the trip. Wiggles decided to really play in the dirt. Wow that girl was dirty!!
Dirty and happy as a clam.
Can't wait to go back there again! Everyone had a great time!!!
Steph's Baby Shower
Wow I didn't realize that it's been a while since I last posted anything. I guess the saying time flies when your having fun is true.
Back at the end of April we helped throw a Baby Shower for my cousin Steph. This will be her first baby. :) We are all very excited and the kids are bouncing off the walls with the news of a new baby joining the ranks. Grant will be loved on by his cousins. Wiggles and I left early on a Saturday morning to go help set up and visit family before the party. Wiggles loved seeing Steph again but LOVED all the old school toys Steph had up in her closet. (I forgot to take a picture of these toys).
The shower was a success and I think everyone had a wonderful time.
Here we are with Steph, I told her to wear a dress that actually made her look pregnant but I guess she didn't listen. Oh well. I just tried to find the picture of her Mom pregnant with Steph but I can't find it. I will have to look for it. I sure hope I have that picture.... I will post it whenever I find it. I'm still waiting for Steph to POP.
Here is Wiggles taking her job seriously. As the women came in Wiggles would give them a necklace and tell them not to say Baby.
We were playing bingo, here are some family paying close attention so they can win.
Steph and Wiggles showing off what we got her. Oh and look below paying attention paid off for some. :)
Here is Roci enjoying the smell of her win. Lotion from Bath and Body Works. We all had a great time and was sad when it was all over. Can't wait for Grant to arrive. (Secretly, I'm hoping he comes early; Wiggles will be on a trip when he is actually due.) I know she will be sad if she wont get to see him in the hospital. So Grant come early not too early maybe just a week early. :)
