Wiggles Birthday Dinner

Every year we take Wiggles and Monkey out for dinner on their birthday or close to it.  This year was no different.  We took Wiggles to a local pizzeria.  The food was pretty good.  We will go back for sure.  Wiggles like the restaurant and has since asked us to go back.

Here is Wiggles and her number 1 guy Daddy.

She was so excited to open her present from us.  She got the next film with Tinker Bell.  The Lost Treasure.

Wiggles turns 5

Well it seems just like yesterday that we brought Wiggles home from the hospital.  But in reality it was 5 years ago.  Oh my where did that time go?  We now have a 5 year old in the house and is such a girl not a little girl.  I asked her what type of party she wanted and it was all about Princesses.  Of course our Princess would choose a princess party why not.  So we put it together. Wiggles invited her closest friends and a few friends from school.  Each year I asked Wiggles and Monkey what type of cake they want me to make.  Well what type of cake would a princess choose?  Non other then a Doll Cake to look just like a Princess.  So Wiggles and I went to the local craft store and bought the supplies.

Pumpkin Patch Time

Well it's past that time again but at least I'm posting about it. :)  Monkey and were able to have some more Mommy and Me time while going to one of the local Pumpkin Patches.  This one we went to is an actual farm so we were able to pick a pumpkin from the field and we learned about all sorts of pumpkins too.  I think when Christmas time comes I'll take him out to look at the trees too just for fun!

Monkey is about 2 pumpkins tall

Monkey wasn't too sure about this goat.  They both kept their distance from each other.

A friend was able to take a quick picture of us on the Hay ride before we got going.

Monkey going into the corn maze.

Monkey did a great job find a way out he loved this maze.  The best part is at the end you got to pick out your pumpkin.

Monkey did a great job picking out a pumpkin almost perfectly round and he was able to carry it himself too!  It was a great day to get a pumpkin!

Chuck E Cheese!!

At wiggles new school we have a fundraiser at least once a month.  This helps with tuition staying low and it gives us as a family to go out together for some fun.  This time it was a Chuck E Cheese.  We don't go there too often at least not on are own accord.  But we will go if it's raising money for school or perhaps an awards banquet.  Here is the only picture from that night.  We were having so much fun I just forgot to take more pictures. :) I know it's not the best picture....

Soccer Time

This year Wiggles signed up for soccer!  Oh was I so excited.  I love soccer.  These pictures are from the beginning of the season.  Wiggles has improved so much from the beginning, we are so proud of her.  I've been able to help out at soccer practice for the last few weeks and have enjoyed it so much.  I don't think I'll be coaching anytime soon but it is nice to get out there and help.

Wiggles and team mate taking direction from the Coach, there they go break away!  And our little Wiggles too cute a picture for me to pass up. :)
She is enjoying the season.  Not sure what we will do with our free weekends in a few weeks.

Visit to the Fire Station

Monkey and I were able to go visit a local Fire Station with our MOPS group back in mid Sept.  I know a little late on the posting.  We have been so busy with taking Wiggles to school, MOPS, AWANA, and not to mention the regular things that need to be done around here.  So I'm going to try and get caught up the best I can for now.    So Monkey and I were able to go visit the Fire Station.  Poor Monkey didn't like it when the fire alarm (non-emergency just an example) went off or when the guys dressed in their uniforms.

After the education part we were able to take a tour of the Station and go look at the trucks.  Monkey even was able to pretend to do work the water hose.

Very serious about the job at hand.  We had a great time Monkey loved looking at all the trucks.
