Get ready for some Soccer!!

Yup you read it right Soccer!  We are back to fall season sports soccer, football and ballet.  More on the ballet later this is all about Monkey.  This year Monkey was eligible to play soccer.  I was so excited but so was Monkey.  We went and got his own soccer ball no more borrowing sister's pink ball.   We got called by our coach and we were ready to go.  Monkey needs to use his sister's cleats and shin gaurds but that's okay they are neutral in color. :)

We are very blessed with a great coach this year again.  We even managed to get on a team that has soccer practice on a night we don't have anything so that was awesome too.

This is what Wiggles gets to do while Monkey is at practice.  She gets to sit and watch.  Main goal is Monkey is having a great time and he is learning so much!  We might have a soccer star on our hands. But no pressure.

After 6 years it's time to get away.

Well We did it we left the kids with Nani and Papa and ran away for the weekend!  I know it was a long time coming and we finally succeeded.  What a fun weekend too.  We made the long drive down to SLO.  Oh how I miss that place.  We had two goals, walk around and explore and eat!  Both goals were met.

VBS 2010

This years theme was The Rainforest, and both kids had a ball.  Last year when Wiggles went Monkey was sad and lonely for the 3 hours.  Since we didn't go to our church's VBS I didn't know the drill.  I have a friend that goes to the church we went to and she let me know that Monkey could go if I volunteered.  So this year I was all over that!  I'm glad I did too, cause Monkey had a blast and I later found out that he was a great helper to the younger kids in his group.

They had so much fun that week,  I did too.  While my kids were in VBS I helped out with the snack patrol.  So I actually got to see all the kids that went to VBS.  I got to see some kids even from Wiggles school and some friends kids that I hadn't seen in a while.  We will be back next year and even though Monkey can go cause he will be in Kindergarten I'll still volunteer.  It was that much fun! :)
