Daddy I want a car!

Tonight after dinner Daddy decided to take the kids to Home Depot, to get some Velcro for a project he's doing. So he's helping G Monkey put on her shoes and socks. When she says I want a car! Daddy says okay when your 16 you can have a car. So G Monkey yells yeah! I'm sixteen I want my car. That is the 1st smile I got today from her. How funny is she.

AWANAS Graduation

G Monkey finished her first year in Cubbies. Some of you might be wondering what is AWANA. So here is what it is - Awana helps churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ! So last night was the graduation and the end of AWANA until next September. We take a break for the summer and boy to do the Leaders need it! I'm a leader in Cubbies. So I will be enjoying my three months off, but will be working with both Monkey's to get them ready for next year. :) So here are some pictures of B Monkey and her friends.

Back Tracking

So a while ago the family went to the zoo. I was waiting to post about it until I could include a picture. So here is the picture. Now what do you see that is wrong with this picture?

Okay so notice that the 3.5 year old is in the backpack while the 22 month old is walking. Shouldn't it be the other way around? We had a great day hanging out as a family and the kids loved looking at all the animals.

So while G Monkey was helping Daddy, B Monkey was inside. He was not happy at all that he could not go outside and help. So after taking pictures of G Monkey helping Daddy. I took some of B Monkey. Enjoy!

Helping Daddy

Hi Everyone out in Blog world. It's been a few tough weeks. Both my Monkey's have been or are currently sick. We just can't seem to shake these bugs around here. G Monkey just had the stomach flu. Once she got better she decided to help Daddy mow the lawn this weekend.

Strawberries, Strawberries, WOW

Okay so today we had a playdate at our local you pick strawberry field. Well B Monkey, doesn't understand very well to just pick now eat later. So he ate at least a dozen strawberries while we picked, and he never found one he didn't like. There was no stopping this monkey. I'm pretty sure if I'd gotten the stroller out that he would have tipped it over and tried to walk with it on his back. Oh and he'd eat the whole thing too. He's fine not sure what his diaper will look like later but he had fun, and I need to loosen up. B Monkey had a blast, she loved picking the strawberries. She also liked having C Monkey around and M Monkey around too. I'll post some video later but to show you what the monkey's picked here you go. I'm posting too pictures of the same thing for now. I was trying to be artsy. I think I'll just leave that up to Daddy Monkey.....

Vacation

Okay so I've tried to post this topic three times now. So I will try again. Hopefully it will work this time. A couple weeks ago our family and another family went on vacation, with my Husband's parents. We had a great time, and the kids enjoyed having their friends caming with us and seeing their Nani and Papa too. Here are some pictures from the trip.
