My Honey knows how to level a trailer.

So we stayed at a KOA our last day to clean the tanks and clean up.  We've learned over the years this works out really well and the trailers tanks get a better cleaning when we can fill um up and drain um, fill um up and drain um.
This year we got a not so level sight. But not to worry my Honey can level our trailer no matter how uneven.  Check out the pictures below.
This is the leveled side.

This is what my Honey had to do to get this sided leveled.  Here let me show you a closer look.
Yeah! He's the Man!!

Yosemite has it's own Quarter

Before leaving for Yosemite I looked to see if there was anything fun for the kids and I to do.  We were in luck.  While we were there the newest quarter was going to be released.  It just so happens that the National Mint is doing a series of quarters for the National Parks.  And each kid that went got a new quarter in a cool box.  :)

So the kids and I went and stood in line to get a roll of quarters to share with all their friends and cousins.  We also were there to watch the ceremony.

We had a guy dressed up like an eagle dressed colonial for people to take pictures with of course my kids didn't want anything to do with that! They saw him and immediately asked "we don't have to take a picture with that do we?"  Though I thought it would be cute I told them no.
Now I took a picture of the armored truck.  I would have taken a picture of the guys driving the armored truck but I got the feeling it just wouldn't be a good idea.  I wish I could have though, you didn't want to mess with this group.
Notice the gentleman just to the right of Wiggles.  Well while we were listening to the program he got a little wobbly.  Now some how this guy got in front of us while we were in line.  Not a big deal really at first.  We were just happy to be there.  Well as the morning wore on the temperature rose.  No surprise there right.  Well this guys started swaying and well he passed out.  Not once but twice. Who do you think he almost fell on.  Yes my two little angels standing right next to him.  The man it turned out had only coffee that morning and nothing else.  The heat got to him and even though there were plenty of people to help out and let the guy know he did in fact pass out.  He was so bent on getting his quarters he wouldn't leave with the medics.  I'm 100% serious!  The next day while on the bus that takes you around.  A women the size of the man stood next to the kids who were sitting down.  The kids looked up Just to see who was standing next to them and the lady said " Don't worry I wont fall on you."  Wiggles just looked at me with these eyes of sheer panic.  Then you know who got on the bus.  Yeah this guy.  I've never seen two kids get off the bus quicker when it was our stop.

Tuolomne Meadows.

My favorite part of Yosemite!!  Hand's down I love this part of the park.  It's beautiful there, quiet, and cool to cold during summer.  This year though it wasn't as peaceful.  We made due though, the park got some money from the state so they are working on projects all over the place.  Daddy drove us up stopped  at a trail head and went hiking back to the valley. The kids and I took our traditional stroll through the meadows and just enjoyed the wildlife.  We saw deer, birds, pic (looks like a squirrel) and a marmot.
The start of our walk.
Look close and your see a Robin Bird.
Its so beautiful. Usually it's a little greener.
Look close and you will see the marmot.
The deer.  I made sure the kids were real quiet so not to spook the deer.
Just beautiful!!!

Oops Out of sinc. Sorry

Okay sorry everyone, I totally forgot to post pictures of Wiggles Going to dance camp.  Because she had such a great time there you wont see any soccer pictures of her this year.  She's chosen on her own to not play soccer but to take up Ballet.  So here are the pictures of Wiggles at Dance Camp and then at the recital they had at the end of the week.
Wiggles on her way to dance camp the first day.  She wasn't happy when I picked her up.  She started crying when we left.  She wanted to stay for the whole day not just 1/2 day.
Outside the dance studio just before class starts.  So excited to start ballet!!!
Showing the parents some of what they learned all week long.
At the end they all came out to curtsy, and let the parents take pictures.

Glacier Point

Every year we make a trek up to Glacier Point and have dinner.  This year we chose to go up earlier and have lunch.  While we liked seeing that area during a different time of day.  I'd choose to go back at dinner time next year.  Reason why: Too many people during the day; when the sun is setting there aren't many people there and it's so beautiful.  So next year if we go, we will go around dinnertime.

Here are the kids checking out the metal topo map of the area.  They are trying to figure out where our campground is. (It's not on the map)
Here is Daddy doing one of the things he does best. Photography.  He does a great job taking scenery shots.
My kids are so use to taking pictures they automatically say "CHEESE" when ever I look at them with the camera.  Too bad I cut out Half Dome in this picture.
On our way back to the Car.  Monkey is learning the joys of helping out.  Don't worry the cooler was empty. He was so proud of himself helping Mommy and Daddy with the cooler.  He kept saying I'm a big boy.

Our Yearly trip to Yosemite

Notice the types of car seats we have this year.
No 5 point this year
Booster this year.
It's that time of year again.  We took our traditional family trip to Yosemite.  This year we stayed at North Pines Campground and had access to the river right outside our campsite.  That meant we didn't have to load up the kids and bike to our usual beach spot along the river. :)

Daddy hanging out by the water enjoying a book and watching the kids in the water.  We did a lot of hanging out by the water.  Funny thing was it wasn't as hot this year which was a blessing because we did bring Toby this year.  I would totally stay at that campground again.  IT was much quieter then the other one we normally stay at.  Plus the river access is always a plus!

Wiggles and Monkey were quite the helpers this trip.
Taking the trash to the big trash cans.
Doing our part to keep the campground bear safe.
I just have to post this picture. It's not often you see this. :)

What happens when you don't have a pool and it's summer.

You plan in the sprinklers until the grass starts getting muddy.  Yup we did it even with the water rations going on.  I like to look at it as we were just using the water that would have been used for the front yard, if we had grass in the front. ;)  So both Monkey and Wiggles played in the sprinklers that day.  We've had a pretty mild summer so far. I can only hope it stays this way.  Then it will be the best weather for summer since we moved here.
Wiggles was trying to jump over the sprinklers and I caught her in mid air.  I think it's a pretty cool picture.
Not sure what Monkey is doing in this picture probably trying to get away from the water.  Don't ask...
Wiggles trying to get her hair wet as if she was in the pool.  Only she had to go forward instead of backwards.
We got lots of water balloons this year from various places.  So we are set for the next 10 summers. ;)  Anyways after the kids popped all the balloons I had time pick up the broken balloons.  This is what was left from our biodegradable water balloons.

My New Hobby....

Well I've gotten a new hobby or new craft. Not sure which to call it.  A while back I bought material and found a pattern to make bean bag chairs for the kids.  Not sure where I got the idea to make them for Wiggles and Monkey but I did.  While I should have taken pictures from the beginning I didn't I only have pictures of the final product.    So here it is: The bean bags one for a girl and one for a boy. :)

So above are the finished product of the bean bag chairs.  Below are the kids enjoying them.

Packing for Nani and Papa's.

About a month ago we decided the kids were old enough and lower maintenance that we could leave them with Nani and Papa and get away.  SO I planned the weekend set it up and then I made the mistake of telling Wiggles and Monkey that they were going to stay with Nani and Papa.  Well they thought that they should start packing, after all they only had a month to pack in and they didn't want to leave anything behind.  This is what I walked in on.

No they didn't pack any clothes this time around the next time they did. One bucket had underwear, another had pj's.  They made sure to pack any empty bag/bucket/can/backpack.  You name it if it was empty it wasn't for very long.  I had to explain they would have to unpack and pack again in one months time.

Fourth of July!

So fourth of July this year was way different the the others.  Daddy and Wiggles were on a backpacking trip.  Yes our 5 year old went backpacking.  Anyways, Monkey and I found ourselves at home for the long weekend.  So we made the rounds.  We started at one's friends house and ended at another.
